Top Rope Belay Test

Climbers are responsible for setting up the climbing center top rope after removing lead rope authorization card must be displayed at all times in order to belay lead belay or lead climb.

If you re right handed make sure the rope is on the correct side of the atc device. Testers must back up belayers during testing. All belayers or lead climbers must have a current belay or lead certification. Its main purpose is to keep the belay device in place during a belay.
